Frequently Asked Questions
Find clear answers to common questions about our programs, batch schedules, online vs in-center options, and student certification at Brain Mantra Academy.
Are classes online or offline?
Both options are available. We provide Live Interactive Online Classes (via Zoom/Google Meet with dedicated camera and workbook guidance) as well as In-Center Batches at our learning center in Uninav Heights, Rajnagar Extension, Ghaziabad. Parents can choose the mode that best fits their schedule.
How often are classes held?
Classes are typically held twice a week for 60 minutes per session (45–60 minutes for early Phonics). This rhythm provides ample practice between classes without overloading your child’s regular school routine.
Which program is right for my child?
We provide a complimentary 1-on-1 assessment and counseling session with our senior educators. We evaluate your child’s age, numeracy comfort, reading fluency, and cognitive interests before recommending an optimal starting program.
How long do courses take?
Course timelines vary by program and the child’s learning pace:
• Abacus: 8 progressive levels over ~24 months (~3 months per level)
• Vedic Maths: 4 progressive levels over ~12 months (~3 months per level)
• Rubik’s Cube Speed Solving: ~21-day structured mastery course
• Phonics & Memory Mastery: Multi-stage progressive sprints tailored to developmental milestones
Will my child receive a certificate?
Yes. Brain Mantra Academy is an accredited skill development institute. Students receive official level-wise completion certificates upon successfully passing assessments for Abacus, Vedic Maths, Phonics, and Memory Mastery.
Can courses be combined?
Yes! Many students successfully combine complementary courses — such as Abacus with Phonics (for young learners) or Vedic Maths with Memory Mastery (for middle schoolers). Because sessions meet twice weekly, weekly schedules are easily coordinated.
What is the right age to start the Abacus program?
The ideal starting age is between 5 and 12 years. At this age, children grasp basic counting (1 to 100) and have the fine motor skills to manipulate physical beads while their brain neuroplasticity and visual memory are at their highest developmental potential.
What is the difference between Abacus and Vedic Maths?
Abacus (Ages 5–12) uses physical and mental bead manipulation to develop foundational calculation speed, bilateral brain coordination, and photographic memory. Vedic Maths (Ages 10+) uses 16 ancient mathematical Sutras to perform lightning-fast mental calculations, algebra, squaring, and roots without physical tools, making it ideal for school exams and competitive test preparation.
Do you provide learning materials, abacus tools, and workbooks?
Yes. Every enrolled student receives a comprehensive physical welcome kit including practice workbooks, assessment sheets, and an official 17-rod Abacus tool (for Abacus learners) or a tournament-grade speed cube (for Rubik’s Cube learners).
What is covered in the School Tuition program?
Our school tuition program covers Mathematics, Science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology), English, and Social Studies for Grades 6 to 10 across CBSE and ICSE boards. Batches are kept small (under 8 students) to ensure continuous individual mentoring and doubt resolution.
